The Miami Dolphins Steals Phillip Merling in the Second Round
With the 32th pick overall in the 2008 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins have selected Phillip Merling, DE, Clemson.
At pick number 32, this was considered a real steal. Coming out of college as a junior, scouts had Merling listed as one of the top defensive ends in the draft and the draft boards had him going as high as 15th overall. Merling’s signing could mean the plan is in place to trade Jason Taylor before the start of the season.
This site is dedicated to Phillip Merling, the Clemson Tigers football player and future National Football League (NFL) defensive end.
PhillipMerling.com was launched with the purpose of bringing football news, information, and more to the fans of Phillip Merling. This is not Phillip Merling's official site, this is a fan site.
